What To Expect

This self-guided walking tour will take you to the places related to Shakespeare's life. This literary tour begins in front of Shakespeare's Globe, accompanied by a special commentary with poetry and music. You will learn some of the stories behind this monument, a replica of the ancient Globe Theatre. The narrator will then passionately lead you to the place where the real theatre stood in Shakespeare's time, and tell you the story of the fire that destroyed the theatre. You will then pass in front of the Shakespeare Tavern in Thrale Street and the George Inn, one of the oldest bars in London, while the narrator evokes the story of Hamlet. Your tour ends in front of Southwark Cathedral, known as Shakespeare's burial place.
