Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Parts of the Tower are not pushchair friendly due to the cobbled paving streets. Buggy parks are provided in few aras.. There are a large number of steps throughout the Tower with cobbles laid in some of the surfaces and pathways. There are some low doorways.. Please wear comfortable shoes as the tour involves a lot of walking. We strongly suggest wearing warm clothing during the winter season.. Nearest undergroud station is Tower Hill. You will have pre-booked tickets, so you will skip that particular line, but please remember that security checks are mandatory.. If you get there by taxi, as the Welcome Centre is on a pedestrian street, tell the driver to drop you off on Petty Wales.. You will see the Crown Jewels but guiding in the jewel house is not allowed . Please be aware that the queue for the Crown Jewels can be long in the high season
The meeting point is right outside the "Learning and Community Groups Meeting Point” (right next to Pret-a-mager) on the slope. The guide will be holding a sign with the customer's name.
