After an early start, you'll leave Inverness and will travel along the Great Glen Fault Line towards Loch Ness. Admire the lovely Castle Urquhart from afar and see if you can spot the Loch Ness monster!After a short break in Invermoriston, you'll continue through the dramatic Highland scenery towards the west coast and Eilean Donan Castle. You can go inside ‘the most photographed castle in Scotland’ or simply enjoy the astounding views.And now, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for. It’s time to cross the sea onto the Isle of Skye. You'll travel up the island’s east coast through the stunning Red Cuillin Mountains to Sligachan, where there will be photo stops of the clear mountain waters.Arriving in the town of Portree, you'll have some free time to grab a bite to eat at one of the many delightful local restaurants.After you’ve filled your belly, you can explore some of the most famous scenery of the island at the Trotternish Peninsula. The Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, and the Quiraing are all unforgettably beautiful.Venture to Kyleakin for refreshments and a chance to view the dramatic ruin Castle Moil or the Skye Bridge and Eilean Ban, then make your way back to Inverness with more picturesque routes and scenery to admire.

Not allowed:

  • Unfortunately, children under the age of 5 are not permitted on this tour

Know in advance:

  • Kindly arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour starts
  • There is a luggage restriction of 14kg per person. This should be one piece of luggage approximately 55cm x 45cm x 25cm and a small bag for on board personal items
  • Please note that Eilean Donan Castle will be closed on the following dates: 2nd, 5th, 6th, 9th, 15th, 16th and 24th November 2024 and over winter between 22nd December 2024 and 1st February 2025. During these days you will be unable to visit the inside of the castle
