What To Expect
Imagine walking in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire from the hit series Outlander, with a local Scottish Guide regaling all the gruesome history and stories that made this an epic hit. We take you on a journey to some of the most famous scenes from the hit series such as Midhope Castle the real-life Lallybroch, Doune Castle, the seat of Clan MacKenzie and the beautiful coastal village of Dysart used as the port of Le Havre. Your Guide will give you an insight into the history and stories of each location, making this the perfect trip for those looking for a quick Outlander fix.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. A maximum of 10 people per booking. Unfortunately we are unable to carry children under 5 years old, and anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. There are no maximum age restrictions.. It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals. . There are days when a castle may be closed for filming or other reasons. The tour will then include Linlithgow Palace in its place as an exterior visit.. Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.. Midhope Castle will be closed November 2024 the following dates, and we'll visit Linlithgow Palace in its place: Tues 12th, Sat 16th, Mon 18th, Tues 26th,Thurs 28th. Midhope Castle is closed for the season from December 2024 to end of March 2025 and will be substituted with Linlithgow Palace
