As you leave Edinburgh, you'll head north to South Queensferry where you'll travel over the Queensferry Crossing and admire the Forth Rail Bridge which is one of Scotland's greatest man-made landmarks. Then, you'll enter the Kingdom of Fife and stop off in the traditional fishing village of Anstruther to check out the old cobbled streets and take a stroll along the seafront to the harbour. From Anstruther, you'll continue north to the medieval town of St Andrews. This seaside town is home to one of Britain's oldest university, a beautiful ruined castle perched on a cliff and, of course, the famed golf course which has hosted many golf icons. Then, you'll take a pleasant drive through the rolling countryside of central Fife to Falkland. Falkland Palace dominates this old village but it's quintessentially Scottish cottages and narrow winding streets make it one of the most beautiful villages in Scotland. It's the perfect final stop before returning to Edinburgh!
