This is the only walking tour of Chawton led by an Italian who has lived in the village for years and is a perfect day trip from London to discover the true English countryside.
By participating in the tour, you will have the chance to get to know the village that Jane Austen loved and where she spent the last eight years of her life happily but also to discover how to live in an authentic village in the English countryside together with those who live there and tell this wonderful world through her blogs and videos followed by thousands of people in Italy and around the world.

Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Transportation options are wheelchair accessible. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. The tour runs on sidewalks and paved roads but, in a couple of short stretches, also on grassy and dirt areas so it may not be suitable for wheelchair users. . The walk is not challenging but I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for the unpredictable English weather.

Meeting Point
The meeting point of the tour is in the grassy area in front of Jane Austen's House, in the centre of Chawton village. Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour start time (noon). The tour will depart on time at the scheduled time.
