Oulton Broad to Somerleyton

Join us for a stunning boat trip from Oulton Broad to Somerleyton and back along the River Waveney, offering a chance to explore the hidden beauty of the Southern Broads National Park. We take a leisurely hour to get to Somerleyton, have an hour in Somerleyton, and spend an hour returning to Oulton Broad.

As we cruise along the Waveney, enjoy views of fens, marshes, and wildlife, including marsh harriers, kestrels, and ducks. This nature-focused trip lets you immerse yourself in the untouched beauty of the Broads, passing Carlton Marshes, a Suffolk Wildlife Trust nature reserve.

Keep an eye out for rare dragonflies, butterflies, and historic mills, some still in operation. After reaching the Waveney’s northern stretches, we'll turn back to Oulton Broad, arriving just as the sun sets.
