Bath is situated in the isle of Somerset and has the only natural spring in all of Great Britain. Indeed, for centuries, Bath was famous as a hot springs center for the Romans. From the Elizabethian until the Georgian era, Bath was mostly for the rich, which resulted in a unique collection of Georgian architecture (most notably, the Satellite Crescent). In 1987, the city was declared a World Heritage Site. With plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as some of Britain's finest independent shops, Bath is the ideal city break destination.
