What To Expect
The early inhabitants of the northeast of Scotland were the Picts, and they have left their lasting footprints on our landscape. On this tour we will delve into their lives, their history and how they became the People of Alba. Throughout the tour we discover the legacy of ancient heritage and hear stories and folklore that shaped their beliefs and continue to be told today. This is a unique, off the beaten path tour that will take you into undiscovered corners of Aberdeenshire.

Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues.. If you have walking poles for the hill sections, please bring them as there are some steep sections on the hills. We may have some available to borrow on the day. Guests are not expected to participate in the walking and some adjustments can be made. If in doubt please contact us before booking.
