Enjoy this shared shore excursion from Marseille port to discover the town of Avignon and the wine of Chateauneuf du Pape.
Leave Marseille seaport with your tour guide and drive to the city of the Popes : Avignon.
Picture the Pont Saint Bénézet, which use to cross the Rhône river. Walking around the city center, you will see the best preserved Gothic palace in Europe : the Popes Palace (entrance not included).
End your day with a wine-tasting in one of the winery of Chateauneuf du Pape.
Free time for lunch on your own during the day.

Please wait your tour guide at the exit of the ship/cruise terminal, do not start to walk in the port area.
The tour departs from the pier shoreside. Once you disembark, whether there is a terminal building or not, your local tour guide will be waiting at the exit with a sign with your last name. The local tour guide will greet you and walk you to the transportation.
Please Note: It is important that you refrain from strolling about the harbor area and just go to the meeting location.
