⚠️Between July 18 and September 8, 2024, the route will be modified due to the holding of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. We will no longer go to the Eiffel Tower or to some monuments in the center of Paris included in the description of this running tour, since they will be blocked for the Games.
Instead, we will visit some monuments still open to visitors, such as Hôtel de Ville (Paris City Hall), Centre Georges Pompidou, Les Halles, Palais Royal, Place Vendôme and the Opéra Garnier. We will then head to Montmartre, a famous artistic district and location of the famous Moulin Rouge, culminating at the top of the Montmartre hill with a breathtaking view over Paris from the Sacré-Coeur basilica. This will be our return point to the Paris City Hall.
New meeting point between 7/18/24 and 9/8/24: by the metro station Hôtel de Ville, located opposite the Paris City Hall building, on rue de Rivoli.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
We're meeting between the Saint-Michel fountain and the entry of the metro. If you're arriving there by metro (line 4, and RER B and C), just take exit number 3, called "Fontaine Saint-Michel"
