Alsace is home to no fewer than 51 Grand Cru terroirs, where only the four most prestigious grape varieties of the region (Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Muscat) are cultivated, with the exception of Sylvaner.
The names of these terroirs are often mysterious, and the winemakers will be happy to explain their meaning and uniqueness to you.
These terroirs represent the pinnacle of Alsace’s vineyards, with Grand Crus located all along the Alsace wine route, always on hillsides with optimal exposure.
During your visit to the winegrowers, you'll have the opportunity to taste the different grape varieties from the Grand Cru hillsides, and sometimes even the same grape variety from several Grand Cru parcels.
The winemakers will introduce you to the wines that are the pride of their estates and will delight your taste buds.
These wines boast incomparable elegance and exceptional aromatic richness, drawn directly from the soil in which the vines are planted.
