What To Expect
This tour combines an adventurous and scenic mountain hike followed by the relaxation of the natural thermal springs. This is a sensational way to escape the city and experience the natural beauty of the Valencian region.
The 9 km circular trail follows an impressive canyon. Pass through pine forests and gorges and be amazed by the huge vertical cliffs. It takes around 3 hrs 15 mins at a relaxed pace with stops.
Alternatively, a shorter and easier hike of 6 km (2 hrs) can be chosen. From June to September only the shorter hike is possible.
The thermal springs of Montanejos maintain a constant temperature of 25 °C/77 °F. Take a dip and swim in the crystal blue water which have medicinal properties.
You also visit the horizontal water jet created from a dam and the reservoir.
You can choose to have lunch in a village restaurant or bring your own lunch to have at the springs.
From June to September a swim under a waterfall can be chosen instead of the shorter hike.

Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Minimum age is 6 years. Maximum age is 75 years. For summer months bring a sun hat and sun cream. For winter months a top and jacket. Wear comfortable footwear with good grip as some of the route has uneven ground. Bring minimum 1L bottle of water and a morning snack
