Without a single doubt, the Pilatos Palace is a reference for the Sevillian Holy week. A palace that wanted to be a competitor with the Alcazar, not only in beauty but also in power. According to the legend, Don Fadrique, one of the palace owner’s, in the XVI century, after travelling to Holy Land realized the distance from his parents' palace to the Cruzdelcampo Cross was exactly the same one as the one from Pilato's Palace in Jerusalem to the Golgotha mountain.
