Join an excursion and get to know El Soplao Cave. Located in the Arnero mountain range, it is considered one of the great geological wonders of the world due to the quality and quantity of its geological formations called speleothems. Cross valleys, forests, and mountains to reach this amazing cave that was discovered at the time when it was used as a mining factory. Visit the cave on a guided route of 1 km on foot through different galleries of the cave which can also be accessed with a little train. The walking tour is a very easy and accessible route for everyone, even for wheelchairs. Be surprised by the abundant formations of stalactites, stalagmites, and speleothems scattered throughout the cave! After visiting this wonder, continue through the endearing landscapes of Cantabria reaching the Pechón lookout. From here you will enjoy incredible views over the Cantabrian Sea and the estuary of the Tina Menor estuary. After this short stop, you will resume your way back.

Pick-up from your hotel in Santander. Alternatively, you can go to the meeting point at the bus stop in C/ Castelar, 25 (next to hotel Vincci Puertochico). You should be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time. From Torrelavega area please be at: Pabellón de la Habana Vieja (bus stop).
