Welcome to La Axarquia, a land as peculiar as it is different. A whole orchard in which different cultures settled in the heat of its subtropical climate and a fertile land that rises imposingly in front of the sea, offering us panoramic views that will surely remain engraved in our retinas.
Our first stop will be in El Borge, a small white Andalusian town and once a land of bandits. After touring its alleys, we set off again making a brief stop to visit the old Muslim fountain of Cútar.
From here we arrive at Comares, a white town with a unique location, which allows us to enjoy one of the most impressive views of the province.
After free time to eat and before returning to the starting point, a surprise: we will discover one of the most important Buddhist stupas outside the Asian continent as well as an old watchtower that has surveyed the valley since Al Andalus times.
