This unique cultural center is located in the old Royal Tobacco Factory, known in the city as the Tabacalera. It will host a series of long-term exhibitions, renewed each year, that will explore the complex and fascinating history of Russian art and its changing relationship with European culture.
From July 2024 to May 2025, the extraordinay collection UTOPIA AND AVANT-GUARD. Russian art in the Costakis Collection – MOMus Museum of Modern Art in Thessaloniki will be at The Collection of Russian Museum in Málaga.
The Costakis Collection contains the essence of a time in which artists fervently explored new paths for art, trying to integrate it with life and practical applications.
Russian avant-garde artists were pioneers in exploring the intersection of art with technology and politics, aspiring to create a better and more equitable future.
The center also features a small auditorium, three screening rooms, children's workshops, a reading room with reference books.

Special opening hours apply on 24th and 31st Dec: the museum will be opened until 15:00h. Last entry is 30 minutes before the museum's closing time.
