Bright and early, our journey commences from Madrid to Rueda, nestled in Valladolid province. Our initial halt is at a renowned winery bearing the esteemed Rueda designation of origin, renowned for its exquisite Verdejo white wines. Here, amidst the vineyards, we'll delve into the wine-making process, from grape harvest to bottling. Our experience culminates in a delightful tasting session, sampling the winery's finest blends alongside local cheeses and charcuterie.
With our senses enriched, we reboard our bus bound for Ribera del Duero, home to one of Spain's most prestigious wine designations. En route, we cannot resist the allure of one of Valladolid's premier wineries, where a wine tasting awaits, complemented by a gourmet spread featuring regional delights such as Spanish omelette, croquettes, and artisanal sausages.
Having explored these esteemed wineries and savored the essence of two iconic Spanish designations, our return journey to Madrid commences.
