Its main objective is to raise awareness on the importance of sustainable development by educating visitors on aquatic ecosystems, thereby promoting biodiversity conservation.The Atlantis Aquarium spans 4,645 square meters and combines a traditional aquarium format with numerous interactive and educational activities through its cutting-edge facilities. It features 20 aquariums housing approximately 10,000 specimens from 150 species, like loggerhead turtle, grey reef shark, tropical fish, corals, and jellyfish. Each ecosystem—from mangroves and coral reefs to the ocean depths—is enhanced with many interactive stations where visitors can learn, measure the speed or weight of some marine species, or stroll along an interactive beach.
