A pick-up from your hotel in North Fuerteventura will kick-start your day of adventure. After an hour's drive, you'll reach the first point of interest: Las Peñitas canyon. This hidden gem, tucked away from the crowds, is one of Fuerteventura's most beautiful and striking locations. You'll embark on a two-hour guided hike through this oasis, marvelling at its raw, untouched beauty. It has not only seduced Hollywood production teams, but also all those who like to enjoy adventure sports and experience a raw and untouched nature. One particular highlight of Las Peñitas is a hard-to-find yet magnificent rock formation known as ‘the window’ or 'El Arco'. This capricious work of nature provides a fantastic photo opportunity!Next up is the ocean caves of Ajuy. A short 10-minute drive will take you to the West Coast and a typical fishing village called Ajuy. There, you can savour a tasty sandwich lunch on the cliffs before embarking on a brief 500m walk to visit the famous caves. These were formed by the submarine flow of lava and sediment that rose to the surface and began to form the island 100 million years ago. A great time for a delicious sandwich lunch on the cliffs! You'll have around half an hour to admire these natural wonders before it's time to head back north. You can expect to be back at your starting point by mid-afternoon.
