During this guided walking tour you will discover the Catalan capital’s splendid past. You will have the opportunity to admire the historic city center of Barcelona: the Gothic district. Take a journey back in time, spanning from Roman to Medieval Barcelona, led by an expert professional guide.The tour will start with a visit to the Plaça de Sant Jaume, the current seat of local and regional government. From there you’ll move on to some of the most important sites of this area, like Plaça del Rei, the historic powerhouse of Medieval Catalonia, the Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Barcelona and the Roman walls, important remains which survive even now. At the end of the tour, you can take advantage of the extensive retail offering of the Gothic district.
