Arc de Triomf (Triumphal arch) is a monument designed for the Universal Exposition of Barcelona in 1888 and one of the icons of the city along with its wide pedestrian promenade. Lluís Companys avenue has a significant historical and cultural value, with a family atmosphere, is a known meeting point for locals and occasionally even, it hosts events.
Head towards the Born neighborhood, one of the oldest areas of Barcelona and one of the four neighborhoods that make up the Ciutat Vella district (historic center). Admire the exterior of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar that witnessed some of the most important historical episodes of the city.
