MACBA is located in Barcelona’s historic old town and has more than 20,000 square meters of floor space showcasing contemporary art through permanent and temporary exhibitions. The building that houses the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art was designed by Richard Meier, which is set out on a cultural landmark.
The 2023 program explores complex visions of contemporary art through visual arts, performance, film, music or events. From 14th December 2022 to mid 2024, you can visit the MACBA Collection: Prelude, with a poetic intention.
