Abades is a local village on the east coast of the island, away from the tourist area. This makes it a quiet area, with a quiet, sandy, natural beach. Since fishing is forbidden here and there isn´t much movement at the surface, like swimmers and boat traffic, the ocean here is full of life, which you find close to shore.
Our snorkel spots are easily accessible from this beach, which we find a minute's walk away from our dive center.
If you'd like to eat or drink anything after snorkeling, you´ll find small restaurants with outside terraces and a supermarket directly on the cozy square in front of our center.
Non-snorkers will enjoy the beach.
Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Not recommended for children under the age of 5
If you would like to be picked up on your day of diving, please let us know where you would like to be picked up from, and we´ll inform you what time we´ll be there. We offer a transportation service on the south, west, and east coasts of the island.
Would you like family or friends to come to Abades Beach without joining the activity? Please let us know; we`ll reserve them a seat in our minivan for an additional cost.
