What To Expect

A combination of an underwater landscape of volcanic reefs and no commercial fishing means that the waters off Playa Blanca are teeming with marine life – the best in Lanzarote. And you can discover them with these fantastic three and five-day scuba diving packages.Professional PADI Instructors are on hand to show you the ropes as you explore what lies beneath the waves. They'll try to ensure that you visit as many different dive sites as possible. You can expect to see small species such as seahorses to much larger angel sharks, grouper, stingrays and electric rays. Large schools of barracuda and sea bream are also common. And keep an eye out on the solidified lava rocks for octopus and Moray eels. While in Puerto del Carmen, there are a few small wrecks, which can also be dived.

You must be in good physical condition
You'll need to first take part in a half-day scuba review if you haven't dived for more than 2 years
Shoe size and wetsuit size – height and weight – required
Insurance not included – has to be purchased on site
Bring your diving certificate and while booking, specify the type of certificate you have and the equipment you usually use
Minimum age is 12 years
