The Tour starts in the south of Gran Canaria and proceeds all along Santa Lucía’s ravine towards Sorrueda dam. There, you will pay a visit to the Fortaleza de Ansite (Fortress of Ansite), one of the greatest archaeological sites in Gran Canaria. This fortress is composed by 3 different volcanic plugs such as Fortaleza Grande, Fortaleza Chica and Titana (Big Fortress, Small Fortress and Titana).
You will continue on your way down the valle de las mil palmeras (thousand palm trees valley) towards Fataga, whose archaeological heritage is known worldwide. Once there, you will get the chance to walk through its old town and its cobblestone streets, appreciate its traditional Canarian houses and know more about the indigenous background of Gran Canaria.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Alcoholic drinks are not allowed inside the vehicle.. It is recommended to bring sunscreen and a hat or cap.
