What To Expect
Luxor is truly a great destination for anyone interested in ancient history and archaeology. With two days spent in Luxor, you'll have the opportunity to explore some of the region's most famous ancient sites. Here is the suggested itinerary for your two-day visit:
Day 1:
- Just connecting from Marsa Alam. Start your day by visiting the west bank of the city of Luxor, which includes the Valley of the Kings. This vast necropolis is the final resting place of many pharaohs,
- Visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most magnificent ancient structures in Egypt.
- Ride a felucca (traditional sailboat) on the Nile River during sunset.
the second day:
- Morning: Explore the east bank of Luxor, starting from the Karnak Temple Complex. This massive temple complex is one of the largest religious sites in the world
- Visit Luxor Temple, which is located in the heart of the city.
