First visit Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-Isut means "the holiest place". After lunch at a restaurant on the banks of the Nile, drive to the west bank of this magnificent river to admire the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III. To visit "The Colossi of Memnon", then the Valley of the Kings where magnificent tombs were discovered.These tombs were dug deep into the rocks of the desert, richly decorated and filled with treasures destined for the pharaoh's afterlife. You will also visit the great Hatshepsut Temple. This impressive temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of ancient Egypt. Then we will take you to the alabaster workshop where the Egyptians make their wares.
