Luxor program is consisting from sightseeing on both banks of the city: West and East bank of Nile. As ancient Egyptians believed the east, where the sun is rising, is the life and the west, where it goes down, is death.
The entrance of the West bank are Colossus of Memnon, two extraordinary statues that were originally guarding the mortual temple of Amenhotep III. The journey then continues to mortual temples – Deir El Bahari, magnificent masterpiece of Queen-pharaoh Hatschepsut or Medinat Habu – temple of big warrior king Ramesse III. The visit of West bank is completed with the Valley of the kings- valuable and hidden graves of the most famous kings of Old Veset. Here you can find (extra charged) the most famous tomb of King Tutankhamun.
After lunch in the local restaurant and short cruise on the Nile you are awaited of the biggest temple of the Luxor-Kingdom era – Karnak temple.
The program is finished around 17:00, when you will be ready to drive back to Hurghada.
