On this private tour you will leave at 9 AM and get to know two of the most important places in Quito; the historic center and Mitad del Mundo. First you will be taken on an unforgettable journey through the largest and least-altered historic center of South America. Visiting this UNESCO world heritage site you will find a great mixture of Spanish and Indigenous culture, which is showcased at its best in the many historic buildings and churches such as the Basilica Church, the Independence Square, La Compañia Church, San Francisco Square and the Panecillo hill.
At the Mitad del Mundo Museum you are offered a great interactive experience demonstrating the unique characteristics of being on the exact location of the Equator line.
This tour is private and won't be shared with other passengers, and will accommodate from 1 passenger up to a group of 45 passengers maximum.
Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Recommended minimum age is 12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
