Historical Costume Tour with Jan Wellem through Dusseldorf's Old Town

Travel back in time with Elector Jan Wellem and experience Düsseldorf's Old Town from the perspective of one of its most important historical contemporaries.On this exclusive costume tour, you will immerse yourself in the world of the 17th century and discover the Old Town from a completely new perspective. You will accompany Jan Wellem on his tour of the city and listen to his anecdotes, interesting facts and background stories from the past and present. You will learn more about the life and work of Jan Wellem, who made Düsseldorf one of the most important art and cultural metropolises in Europe.The tour will start in the historic city centre at the tourist information office. From there, Jan Wellem will lead his "noble guests" along the old harbour to the banks of the Rhine and on through the streets and alleyways of the historic old town. Along the way, you will admire the most important highlights of the Old Town, such as the Lambertus Church or the castle tower.
