What To Expect

Prepare yourself to enjoy a wonderful sail from Wedel towards the North Sea on an emission-free boat tour.Your trip usually starts early in the morning, and leads you from Wedel past the Lühe lock, the gateway to the Alte Land, the Hetlinger Schanze and the island of Lühesand on to the Dwarßloch. There the Haseldorfer Binnenelbe branches off into one of the most beautiful nature reserves, where sea eagles live and seals relax. The route continues past the Schwinge towards Pagensand, Kollmar and Krautsand, where pristine Elbe landscapes alternate with light sandy Elbe beaches. There, the apex of your journey is reached, and you'll sail briskly, mostly with a westerly wind, back to Wedel.

Due to the different tides and fluctuations in the water level, please refer to the provider's website for the final starting point of the tour. Further details can be found on the voucher
The trip will take place in all weather conditions, except in case of too much wind and/or local thunderstorms
There are cool non-alcoholic drinks, beer and Prosecco on board available for purchase
It is advised that you eat before the sailing trip and come on board refreshed
If you want to apply sunscreen in the sunshine, please do this before the trip and not on board
Dress warmer, you can always take your clothes off. In bad weather, please take appropriate (water-repellent) clothing with you
Safety equipment such as automatic life jackets is provided free of charge for everyone on board, regardless of age
For reasons of exclusivity, the number of participants on this trip is limited to 10 people, although the yacht is licensed for 12 people, plus the skipper. Private groups with a maximum of 12 people (e.g. stag party, birthday party etc.) can book 10 seats (group rate) and you are alone on board
The minimum number of participants (individual bookings) per sailing trip on the day of the trip is 5 people

Please bring sporty and clean shoes for the sailing trip, preferably with light-colored soles

Meeting Point

From/to Wedel: In Wedel you can park in the first large parking lot on the Hamburg Yacht Harbor Community site, Deichstrasse 19, 22880 Wedel. The parking lot is in front of the first large (green) boat hall number 4. Directly in front of boat hall No. 4 there is a red and white striped barrier where you can continue on foot into the area. From there you follow the signs (on foot) to the restaurant "Tonne 122", to do this you walk a few meters up the dike and then turn left. You'll meet (on time) in front of the “Tonne 122” restaurant, at one of the pedestrian benches. You don't need to ask for the ELBSEGELEI in the restaurant, the skipper will definitely come and pick you up.
