What To Expect
it is rewarding and memorable to see a client experience the first close encounter with a large Fer-de-lance (Bothrops asper), a new world-class "Lifer" with a maximum of 6 people per group tour, we guarantee to provide detailed attention to all participants.
We will be sure to dedicate full time to searching and exploring the best areas, to ensure we find the species that make Costa Rica a great herpetology destination.
We suggest you contact us before the tour and share any specific goals or species requests you have in mind. We will prioritize any special requests first and then find the tour's famous icons, such as the red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis callidryas), the turnip-tailed gecko (Thecadactylus rapicauda), the granular glass frog (Cochranella granulosa), the eyelash viper. (Bothriechis sp)

Important info
Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Wear light, breathable, and comfortable clothes, light cotton T-shirt and pants are ideal for the tour (Long sleeve shirts are not necessary). It is mandatory to wear closed-toe shoes (tennis or hiking boots) to participate in the tour.. We do not recommend the night tour for children under 6 years old.

What's not included
Dinner. Transportation from outside Quepos.. Thousands of plastic bottles are contaminating our National Parks, rivers, and oceans each year. So, don’t forget the BPA-free water bottle that you can refill as many times as you’d like

Meeting Point
This place is within walking distance of almost all hotels near the national park. If you are driving, there is a secure parking area in front of Morpho Beach Bar. Just drive 100 meters past the entrance to the Playa Espadilla hotel on Calle Bosque (gravel road) and park anywhere on your right.
If you coordinate in advance, we can provide round-trip transportation directly from your accommodation. Our included transportation applies to hotels, Airbnbs and rental villas in Quepos (downtown and Marina area) and primarily to all accommodations in the Manuel Antonio area.
Quepos pick-up time: 5:30 p.m - Manuel Antonio pick-up time: 5:45 pm.
NOTE: Our tours usually last until 8:00 PM. Depending on what we encounter along the way, the tour may extend a little longer. Please note that most restaurants stop serving meals between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM. We are happy to recommend a great local restaurant after the tour. If transportation is included, we can always provide return transportation after dinner if you request it in advance.
