What To Expect
Enjoy the unique landscape of the only nature reserve with direct access to La Fortuna Waterfall.
Embrace your inner jungle explorer by venturing into the lush rainforest around Arenal Volcano on an exhilarating horseback ride from La Fortuna.
There you will ride for around 45 minutes to get to Pino Blanco Lookout, where you will leave the horse to start a hike for around 20 minutes going down 500 steps to arrive at the majestic La Fortuna Waterfall.
Once there, you will have about 40 minutes to swing, take pictures, or just relax. After that, we will go back, and at the end, you will enjoy some fruits.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. From age 5 and up, if they are able to ride one of our kids' horses, the guide pulls the leash and stays near to the kids at all times.
