Your day begins bright and early, arriving at 06:30 AM to immerse yourself in the dawn chorus and catch the first bird sightings as the forest awakens. Led by an expert birding guide, you'll venture along scenic trails, encountering vibrant species such as the Andean Motmot, Chestnut Wood-Quail, and an array of tanagers and hummingbirds.
08:30 AM - 12:00 PM – Resume birdwatching, exploring more of the reserve's trails with your guide, who will share insights on the local species and their unique habitats.
12:00 - 13:00 PM – Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch, surrounded by the reserve’s tranquil landscape.
After lunch, you’ll have the chance to explore two more trails in the afternoon, each offering fresh birding opportunities as different species emerge in the cooler hours.
13:00 - 16:00 PM – Discover new trails and habitats with your guide, where you may spot elusive species and capture memorable photos of these feathered gems.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels
