What To Expect

Experience Bogotá’s La Candelaria neighborhood and the mountaintop Monserrate Monastery (If your select this option) during this 7 or 8 hour excursion. Wander the narrow streets of Bogotá’s La Candelaria area as you visit the city’s Gold Museum, Botero Museum and more. you will have free time to have lunch before you ascend by cable car to Monserrate to enjoy stunning views of the Colombian capital. Museum entrance fees and your cable car ride are all covered. You will have the oportunity to decide if you visit Monserrate or not.

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. A minimum of 2 people per booking is required. Excursion with Monserrate is around 8 hours and 7 hours without this visit.. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Sundays are the most busy days at Monserrate due to the Catholic mass offered on the church, so we recommend you not to visit it on this day. Botero Museum is closed on Tuesdays.. Gold museum and Quinta de Bolivar closed on Mondays, instead we visit Museo de Botero and Museo Casa de la Moneda.. Wheelchair accessible, please advise at time of booking if wheelchair assistance is required and have an addicional charge. Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required. We need complete names of all passengers to do the booking at the Gold Museum. The gold museum is subject to availability
