Escape Medellin for a day with nature! Just 1.5 hours from the city, this eco-adventure will take you to a nature reserve of waterfalls, springs, trails, bird watching, flora, and fauna. You can design your day with relaxation with nature, hiking, or extreme activities on the highest and longest zipline in Colombia, a Ferrata climb next to the waterfall, hanging hammocks with spectacular views of El Salto del Buey waterfall, and lunch on your own. El Salto is one of ten waterfalls on the reserve and is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Antioquia at 90 m (295,276 ft). You will stop in La Ceja for breakfast and to learn about the indigenous Tahamíes, admire the colonial architecture, and why it is known as the little Vatican.
