What To Expect
Raft Calderas river, a clear green river that carves through untouched Colombian rainforest. Start the adventure in Medellin and drive for 2 hours to playa loca, located in the municipality of Cocorna, via Medellin-Bogota highway. Once there, we prepare the boats for the raft in Calderas river of 2.5 hours with class III/IV rapids and beautiful waterfalls. We make a stop for taking some snacks and enjoy of the river, the we continue with the rafting activity until we arrive to our finish point in the bridge of Calderas river.
This rafting experience is beyond just paddling whitewater, it’s a fascinating journey into the heart of Colombia’s most untouched rainforest.

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. WARNING: minimun 16yo for this activity is required. May be operated by a multi-lingual guide. A minimum of 2 people per booking is required. We will be in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately, we recommend bring comforable walking shoes and extra clothes and shoes (to change into after trip).. Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants. Bring cash in the local currency (Colombian pesos)
