What To Expect

Dazu Rock Carvings have been a must-go highlight ever since being inscribed on UNESCO world heritage list, however the 900-year-old Hutou village ancient carvings which just neighbors to Dazu barely draws attention for it's remote location and uncomercialized status, that's also the reason why almost no tour guides was trained for this site.

We did lots field work on it, we drove through the country side, talk to the villagers, gained first-hand stories.

The original status and incredible preservation give Hutou village rock carvings a high value on artistic, historic reserch and deep-touch tour, that's why we pick it up and present to our travellers.

What to remember

Important info

Suitable for all physical fitness levels. For our travellers' saefty, we'll shift to Pilu Cave-s similarity nearby in stead of Hutou Village in rainy days. This village is still quite remote and a rainy slick road condition might be a potential safety concern. The alternative Pilu Cave is also an ancient rock carvings which is even bigger than Hutou village, the andmission fare will be included.
