The Gubeikou Great Wall, located around 130km northeast of Beijing, is divided into two parts: Wohushan and Panlongshan, The Panlongshan section is a good choice for an easy walk, as it’s in good condition, and there are relatively few steep ups and downs compared to other parts of the Great Wall. The wall here runs along the top of a ridge, you’ll enjoy expansive views as you hike.
Jingshanling Great Wall is the most beautiful section of the Great Wall and a paradise for photographers, it was built around 1567-1586AD, served as the first protection of Beijing City, located about 135km beyond the Mutianyu Great Wall. Here 67 watchtowers dominate 20 kilometers of the Great Wall, making it a perfect location for viewing Great Wall sunsets, and sunrises too.
