Begin this 3-part exploration in the charming mountain village of Grindelwald before ascending to the peak of the First Cliff by cable car. Feel on top of the world standing on the glass-deck viewing platform, 2200m (721ft) above sea level. Take a stroll across the peak for panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountain tops. Our knowledgeable tour guide will share facts and tales of the surrounding region throughout the exploration. Continuing to the pristine glacier lake of Bachalpsee, the hike will engulf you in the beautiful alpine landscapes of the neighboring Bernese peaks. Look out for wildlife, including marmots, wild Alpine ibex goats, foxes, rabbits, deer, and much more!
Concluding with a final voyage across the small mountain ridge of Schynige Platte, the guide will lead you to several discoveries known as the ‘Six Pearls.’ These include the karstic Güw area, where eroded limestones form to create an otherworldly landscape, and the unspoiled Faulhorn mountain.
