THIS IS NOT A HIKING TOUR, so you won’t need to worry about strenuous activity. While there will be some walking as we explore different locations, it won’t be much. Once we reach the perfect spot, our team will set up a comfortable base just for you. Relax in comfy chairs and inflatable loungers, equipped with headlamps to light your way. Sip on hot chocolate or tea and wrap yourself in blankets as you soak in the peaceful atmosphere of a mountain night.
If the skies are clear, we’ll provide a telescope for a closer look at celestial wonders like stars and planets. And if fortune smiles upon us, the elusive Northern Lights might even make an appearance!

IMPORTANT NOTE: This 2-hour tour runs under a range of weather conditions - clear skies, partly cloudy, some clouds, mainly cloudy, cloudy, light snow (very magical time in the mountains at night). If it rains or snows heavy, we offer the option to reschedule or a full refund.. Not recommended for small children. Any child under 6 years old must be seated in a proper child safety seat (not a booster). Please provide your own child safety seat. If you are traveling with a child under 6 and do not bring a child safety seat, unfortunately, we will have to deny boarding with no refund provided.. Please note, we need a minimum of four guests (they don’t have to be from the same group or family) to run the trip. If we don’t reach that number, we’ll gladly offer you an alternative date, a different service, or a refund.. Stars and Aurora Borealis sightings are not guaranteed. Please let us know in advance if you are coming with a service dog. The tours are scheduled to run under varying sky conditions—partly cloudy, partly clear, a mix of clear sky and clouds, cloudy periods, mainly cloudy and cloudy, light snow. Should the weather be rainy, or heavy snow we offer options to reschedule, choose an alternative tour or a refund. Canmore Travel will make decisions about tour cancellations based on a combination of temperature, wind chill, and rain/ heavy snow forecast. In such cases, you will receive advance notification 24 hours ahead, and the tour will either be rescheduled or a full refund provided. Our tours operate in temperatures from -20 °C to +20°C. We use the official Government of Canada weather forecast to assess the weather conditions.. We kindly request that all individuals joining our services sign an electronic waiver. Please do not list another adult under your waiver. Every adult needs to have their own waiver and sign for themselves. Do not sign on behalf of anyone else (unless you are adding your minor children under your waiver). If your children are over 18, they need to sign their own waiver.
