Tikal National Park is located deep in the Guatemalan rainforest and was once a major site of Mayan civilization. Today the site, which is composed of beautifully eroded ancient temples and palaces, is easily accessible to visitors. The park is also inside one of the world’s largest protected forest areas and is home variety of wildlife including tropical birds, monkeys, and even jaguars have been spotted occasionally. The day-long tour includes all fees and taxes, hotel pick-ups and drop-offs and lunch.
Specialized infant seats are available. Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Minimum age is 18 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
