Rio de Janeiro is known as the “world capital of Samba” because it was here that the music genre was born, more than 100 years ago.
The rhythm is the most significant cultural manifestation of the city, not only during Carnival but throughout the year and every day of the week.
On this experience, beyond learning about the rich history of the national music genre and practicing your samba dancing skills, you will enjoy a typical Carioca institution: the botequim or boteco, as we like to call it.
Botequins are small bars (often family ventures) specializing in the sale of drinks and appetizers. They are locals of fraternization, with a laid-back environment and an informality that is also present in its menus.
We will take you to a nightlife experience and make you immerse in the Bohemian Carioca way of life!
Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Suitable for all physical fitness levels
The venue is a traditional samba house in Rio de Janeiro that combines the best of both aspects of our experience: good music and food!
