09 - Guided Walk Through the Historic Center of Rio de Janeiro

The historic center of Rio de Janeiro is surrounded by centuries-old roads and buildings that illustrate important passages in the history of Brazil from the imperial period to the republic.

Visitors who walk along Avenida Rio Branco, pass through Largo da Carioca, Cinelândia, return and take the Ombudsman to Rua Primeiro de Março and explore many other paths, will find museums, cultural centers and public places where characters from Machado de Assis and they represented the meeting point of intellectuals until the middle of the 20th century.
