Surrounded by charms and mysteries, Pedra da Gávea is 842 meters long and is certainly the most challenging trail in Rio. Whoever is willing to face a little more than 1.5 km of steep climb and a carrasqueira capable of putting fear in many people, will be gifted by a breathtaking view of practically the entire coast of Rio.
The challenge is compensated when you reach the top of Pedra da Gávea, and you are faced with the stunning view that extends from the Atlantic Ocean on the south side of the city, its golden sand beaches, all of Barra da Tijuca and west of Rio, in addition to do Pão de Açucar, Corcovado and the Tijuca Forest ..
