The Samaipata Fort is an archaeological site in Bolivia, located a few kilometers from the town of Samaipata in the department of Santa Cruz, at an altitude of 1,950 meters above sea level. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, it is considered the largest work of rock architecture in the world.
Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
