Experience centuries of Belgian craftsmanship with this small-group tasting that combines two iconic Belgian products: chocolate & jenever. Indulge in five delicious pairings while gaining insights into these craft products and the artisans behind them.
Belgium is renowned for its craft foods and drinks, but have you tried jenever? Less known than Belgian beer, jenever remains a hidden gem. Though it’s the Belgian ancestor of gin, this unique drink can even resemble whiskey when aged. This tasting introduces you to five local jenevers, including a 10-year-aged jenever. We’ve paired them with chocolates from different chocolatiers across Belgium: a great opportunity to explore various styles of Belgian chocolate in a short time span.

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Due to the fact that our shop is located in a historical building, it is not easily accessible by wheelchair. If you use a wheelchair or you have any other support needs, contact us beforehand so we can look together what we can do to make this experience accessible for you.. This activity takes place in a chocolate shop. The tasting room temperature is around 18°C to maintain the quality of the chocolate. We would advise to bring a sweater if you are easily cold.. As this is a tasting with strong alcohol, we do not allow anyone under 18 to participate. Our products may contain traces of gluten, eggs, milk, soy, nuts, sesame,. Please kindly inform us beforehand about any food allergies or sensitivities.. Not recommended for travelers with severe food allergies. As we work with various small-scale chocolatiers, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
