Discover Lahij village where is protected by UNESCO because the village was one of the best handcraft and trading centers in the Caucasus. People started to live there from III-IV centuries and even village has water and sewage systems that operate 1000 years. You can spend hours strolling along the cobblestone streets and looking at all kinds of crafts of craftsmen and artisans who have preserved their traditions and technologies of working on non-ferrous metals (copper, bronze). The magnificent works of Lahij masters on copper vessels were exhibited at the World Exhibition in Vienna in 1873.We will also stop at the Zarnava suspension bridge, Ismailli region, a region of beautiful rolling countryside producing some of Azerbaijan’s best honey, dairy produce and wine. After discovering the Lahij village, the trip will be followed by a picnic party, which will cater mix of kebabs (pieces of lamb, kofte, chicken and grilled vegetables), fresh salads and local hommemade wine.
