Ateshgah
Ateshgah is fire temple built by ancient Zoroastrians in Absheron peninsula. Being the oldest fire temple in Azerbaijan, it still attracts many visitors, especially from Iran, India and other Middle East countries. The temple consists of walls, various rooms, fire spots and other historical monuments. Visitor together with guide walks through these rooms and gets information about the place, history, traditions of worshipers and etc.
Yanardagh
Guests will be taken to Yanardagh, located in Digah village. This is a spot of naturally burning gas, which comes out of ground. The fire here started many centuries ago and still burning. Although the size of the fire decreased over large exploration of gas resources in Absheron, the place is still very interesting and authentic. Here guests can see this natural event and also have a short break on nearby cafe with the view to fire.
Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Wheelchair accessible. Animals or pets allowed
